Here’s a little treat: Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin

Halloween at the YMCA – Family Fright Fest – The annual Halloween at the Y will be held at the Creekside YMCA Outdoor Adventure Center on Saturday, October 26.  Beginning at 4:00 PM, families are invited to visit the Y for outdoor adventure activities, including Trick or Treating on the Trails with more than 20 stations. Barnes and Noble Halloween Story Time –  Bring your kids to this free event, for a special treat where Miss Sam reads scary stories (along with treats for the little ones). Barnes and Noble in The Woodlands Mall – 281.465.8744

The Woodlands Children’s Museum Annual Spooktacular – (Hey, that was my line! ;o)  The museum will be closed during the day – the staff crawls out of their tombs and transforms the facility into a kid-friendly (i.e. non-scary) Halloween Festival, with games, face painting, magicians, treats, and more! GenuWine’s HalloWine Party – Enjoy live music along with a fine grape concoction at GenuWine Tasting Room – Costume contest – with the first prize being a 3-month wine club membership! Saturday October 26, 7:00PM through midnight (pumpkin time).

Trick or Treat Trail – Little ghosts, princesses and goblins will get a head start on Halloween at the Trick or Treat Trail in The Woodlands. Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.  The Trail starts at Town Green Park.

Gymboree’s Pumpkin Patch – Dress up and join the Halloween fun at Gymboree: Pumpkin activities, seasonal craft projects, music, snacks, parades and more!  October 25, from 3:30 to 7:00PM, at Gymboree of The Woodlands – 3091 College Park Drive – 936.271.2444
