Magnolia Inventory Update – January/February 2013

Activity in the 1488 corridor is starting to resemble the summertime numbers – which is good news for those that are planning to sell. The communities with quicker turnover – outside of the usual suspects like Lake Windcrest and Thousand Oaks – include now Woodforest (new home construction) and Jacobs Reserve (new homes zoned to The Woodlands schools). With quick access to The Woodlands and I-45, these communities continue to offer a value-added choice over busy suburban life.

Remember the 600-acre development? We met with the builder, and they told us that it’s part of a 10-year plan – meaning that we should not be seeing new construction in this particular area for a couple of years yet. However, the current sections in Jacob’s Reserve are expanding quickly. DR Horton has brought back their high-end line under the Emerald Builders banner offering gorgeous home plans from 3000 sf. There are also a number of great new DR Horton plans from the $180,000’s which are zoned to Woodlands High School.
