Muddy Trails Bash – Traffic and Race Info


Looking for something fun to do this Saturday? Join The Woodlands Township Muddy Trails Bash – a sanctioned race through the George Mitchell Nature Preserve (which, at 1800 acres, holds just about 30% of the green areas of The Woodlands. After the race, enjoy some Cajun classics – crawfish and live Zydeco!

Race Times

• Kids Race – 3:30 p.m. (sold out)

• 5K Race – 4 p.m.

• 10K Race – 4:15 p.m.  (sold out)

• 2K-9 Fun Run – 5 p.m.


Traffic and Road closure information

Harris County Constables will assist with traffic direction, including any road closures and re-opening.

  • Creekside Forest Drive from the Round About to Great Heron Drive – closed from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Creekside Forest Drive from Great Heron to Lake Paloma Trail – Closed from 3 to 7 p.m.

Please use Creekside Green for accessing and moving within the Village of Creekside Park.
