Spooktacular Events In The Woodlands this Halloween

Summoning all mummies, daddies, little ghouls and ghosts!  Just in case you missed my latest post (or if you’re not signed up to my newsletter – which can be easily solved by clicking here and subscribe to my mailing list), here’s a few family fun events. Have a safe and fun Halloween!

The Haunting at May Valley Manor

Come if you dare… The many haunted rooms will send chills down your spine as you scream around every turn. The excitement and shock from everywhere will make this an event you won’t want to miss! Can you survive the tour through May Valley Manor? Recommended for ages 9 and up. At May Valley Park, Saturday, October 27 (one and only night), from 6:30 – 10:00 PM (last ticket sale is 9:45 PM). Cost: $5.00 donation per entry.

Halloween at the YMCA – Creekside Park

The annual Halloween at the Y will be held at the Creekside YMCA Outdoor Adventure Center on Saturday, October 27.  Beginning at 4:30 PM, families are invited to visit the Y for outdoor adventure activities, including Trick or Treating on the Trails with more than 20 stations, age-appropriate haunted tree houses and tipis, traditional carnival games and activities on the trails such as ghost toss, fish pond, duck pond, bake walk, and tattoo art; face painting a moon walk, a haunted ambulance and much more ‘frightful’ fun, including Disney’s “Spooky Buddy” movie. Spooky Saturday at The Woodlands Mall

Spooky Saturday will be filled with all sorts of spooky, kooky fun at The Woodlands Mall. Children are invited to hop into their costumes and stop by from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 27, for games, a pumpkin decorating contest, a little trick or treating, a red carpet costume contest and more good fun, including a kids’ DJ who will fill the afternoon with music. 150 pumpkins are up for grabs – so make sure you contact them soon, by sending an e-mail to woodlandsadmin@ggp.com, stopping by Customer Services on the upper level or calling 281 363-3363. Click here for more! 

Trick or Treating Trail at Town Green Park

The free, family-friendly event will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 3 – 6 p.m. at Town Green Park, 2099 Lake Robbins Drive, and along The Woodlands Waterway. More than 30 vendor booths will be set up along the way to ensure a fun-filled trick-or-treating experience!   Follow me for more info…
