The Woodlands Inventory Update – December / January 2013

Inventory in The Woodlands continues to move at a pace unseen since the early 2000’s. Demand continues to increase with employers moving to the area as well as transfers/relocated employees from existing employers as well as investors seeking to lock up property for the predicted increase in demand for rental homes. Our firm has seen an increase from out-of-state transfers. This increase in demand, coupled with low inventory across the board, has resulted in some fierce competition for well-appointed and well-priced homes.  Home prices up to $700K (both with and without a pool) continue to move quickly with less than three months inventory across the board and only 1 month in several price categories.
